The name of the wine is inspired by the mount Mainalo, which dominates the centre of Peloponesse region, in Southern Greece. The most charismatic red grape variety native to Greece, the well-known Agiorgitiko of the V.Q.P.R.D. “Νemea”, a region in the central Peloponnese – produces an excellent “full bodied” luminous wine with an aromatic bouquet of plums and cherries and a unique long lasting taste.
It accompanies well red meat, rich sauces and salads. Best served at 16 °C.
